My husband and I would like to tell you how happy we are with the home we bought in 1989 that was built by you and your craftsmen. We'd heard good things about your work from other contractors and realtors in the area. However, when we saw our house for the first time, we were still overwhelmed with the quality of workmanship and attention to detail. We marveled at the numerous, minute details that had not been overlooked.
As we've lived here the past two years, we have, time and again, realized what a fantastic job you did here. Through many wet seasons, our basement has remained totally dry! I don't know many people who can make that claim. The basement is where you can see the time and effort the electricians and plumbers put in to do such beautiful work. It's almost artistic. Your craftsmen are true artisans. We have seen many newly constructed houses, but none as solidly built and as beautifully crafted as our home. Anyone can see that you have set high standards of workmanship. We get many compliments on our home and we're proud to say T.C. Hogan was our builder. Thanks again for building our "American dream."
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the beautiful house you built for Teddy and me. As you know, this was our first home and I'm sure you are aware of how "unnerving" the whole experience can be. I can most earnestly say that not only did you build us a handsome, sturdy house, but you were most cooperative in making sure that all the "little jobs" after the house was built were taken care of. You'll never know how much that meant to me.
A "special thanks" to Mike for his untiring effort to satisfy all my requests. His patience and efficiency was most commendable. I also found all your workmen to be most courteous and professional when performing all their individual tasks. You can be assured that whenever I speak about our home to people, I sing glorious praises about you and your outstanding workmanship and genuine concern to do a job "right". A great builder! Ben Hogan and his team are fantastic. We came to them a few years ago with an idea for a house but no real plan. Ben executed our ideas perfectly and was one of the few builders willing to incorporate some salvaged pieces we had collected into our new build. Other area builders we talked to about this were reluctant to do so but Ben was enthusiastic about adding "character" to our home with his design and our salvaged materials including vintage columns, fireplace surrounds and mantels, and antique doors. Today you see this on DIY TV shows all the time but 7 years ago Hogan Homes was the ONLY local builder we talked to who was not just willing but HAPPY to make these pieces part of our beautiful home. The home is tight too - we have had no water or rodent problems, something that plagues country houses all the time. The other great thing about Ben is even 7 years later when we call or email with a question, he gets right back to us with an answer! I don’t feel that building the house was a one-time thing for Ben, it is part of an ongoing relationship. Ben also came in ON TIME and ON THE BUDGET he promised. Thank you Ben!!
We purchased a lot in the Milford area . We asked for a builder and our friends mentioned Ben as a good candidate; they went to high school with him. If you know the area, everyone knows everyone, if they grew up there. The lot we chose was a challenge to build a house on. Ben came out and walked the property with us multiple times and listened to our vision. He explained how the house would sit and with the placement of the house how it would improve our views. Since we had never built a home before, we needed someone to hold our hand and explain the process. Ben was easy going and spent a lot of time helping us to pick out a house that would fit that property. He was always available to us and easy to reach. I would highly recommend him to build you the home that is in your dreams!
We hired Hogan Homes to renovate our lake home. It was not an ordinary renovation, inasmuch as the whole house had to be lifted three courses, install a staircase, reconnect all the plumbing and electric (that had also been severed as the house was lifted), create two new bedrooms, family room and bathroom…and make the whole house look like it was originally built that way. Not an easy task. Oh…and he did it through the beginning throes of Covid. Ben was amazing to work with. Confident, honest, fair and trustworthy. All the attributes you’d want when selecting a contractor. I would not only recommend Hogan Homes, but I would use them again without hesitancy.
Hogan Homes went beyond our expectations. My wife and I were very skeptical about modular homes, but the entire experience has been nothing but fantastic.
